For this grab crane project at BMC Moerdijk we worked together with crane manufacturer DEMAN. The result: superb craftsmanship and a satisfied customer.
We set up crane controls for a pair of 25 tonne grab cranes in a 130 m long poultry manure processing area, and for an 18 tonne grab crane in a second storage area. The cranes handle:
- The mixing of fuels and their transportation to the combustion oven;
- The loading of freight vehicles with ash from the oven.
The system works fully automatically with a WCS (Warehouse Control System), and we fully integrated it with the existing system. Together with the client we delivered a complete plant and safety concept design as well as taking on the project management role.
