Aperam: Gantry robot system with mechanical gripper

From the customer’s high bay warehouse arrive metal cassettes with plates on them. These must be stacked on a customer pallet by means of a gantry crane system. The pallets are automatically provided with a coversheet by means of a vacuum gripper, straps, and a label, and the automatic system ensures that the pallets can be stacked on top of each other. The capacity of the gantry crane is 3 tons.
