Bekaert: Customized cable transporter

Bekaert was looking for a compact cable reel transporter to maneuver between production machines. Actemium has designed a transporter that can easily change between a cable reel of min. diameter 1150 to 1600mm. Maximum weight: 3.500kg. Actemium heeft een transporter ontworpen die eenvoudig kan wisselen tussen een kabelhaspel van min. diameter 1150 tot 1600mm. Maximum gewicht: 3.500kg.

Jonker & Schut

Actemium has built an installation capable of handling a total capacity of 800 bags per hour. The installation consists of 2 robots with a gripper based on vacuum technology for the destacking of bags with a weight of 25 kg. The operator enters a pallet using the chain conveyors after which the further cycle is fully automatic. In order to achieve sufficient capacity and allow recipes, there are 4 feeding lines and a total of 16 pallet positions.

The ‘automato’ of Tomeco

Our customer Tomeco, an association of tomato growers who market their products exclusively through Coöperatie Hoogstraten, faced a logistical challenge. The tomatoes that are processed in the sorting and packaging warehouse have to cover a distance of 235 meters to the warehouse of Coöperatie Hoogstraten. Previously, the tomatoes were transported by a forklift that pulled a specially designed cart along this route. However, this repetitive work was not ideal for the forklift drivers, who were better employed on other tasks.

Vogten Staal: a turnkey project from start to finish

Vogten Staal, a prominent player in the decoiling and cutting of hot-rolled steel, has recently built a completely new production hall in Maastricht. An ambitious project, characterized by automation and efficiency. Two state-of-the-art decoiling lines and three packaging lines were built in this new production hall. To realize this high-tech infrastructure, Vogten Staal engaged Actemium. Our expertise in automation fit the bill perfectly and they were involved in this project from the beginning.

In 2020, Aldia built a new factory and was looking for a partner to realize the utilities and processes in this modern site.
